July 4th in Indiana!

Mitchell and I had a fabulous time in Indiana! We headed out at 3:30am on Thursday morning and arrived at 12:30pm! Just in time to have a margarita with my mom and enjoy a ride on the boat :). Then, we got to see Emerson for the very first time. He is such a cutie pie! We had a great time getting pizza with Kyle and Kandyce and Emerson and Andy that evening. Friday, my mom and I ran errands and I got to see Baby Randall's nursery - love it! Then, everyone came over to boat for the day and grill pork chops out. We enjoyed my dad's bonfire and ate some delicious smores! Saturday, Amy, my mom, Kandyce, and I gave Sarah her baby shower! It was a success! The guys played poker and enjoyed a few screw drivers and bloody marys :). We then enjoyed an afternoon of sun and water! July 4th was a full day of boating, floating on the rafts, enjoying the grandparents company, and watching fireworks on the boat! Monday, Mitchell and I headed out at 3am and were home by 12pm today! I had a bad experience at Waffle House and spent the entire day in bed when I got home, but I'm better now! However, I'm never going to WH again in my life :).

Father's Day at the Country Club!

The Rigsby, the Attaways, and the Bartels enjoyed a day at the pool on Fathers Day! We got to enjoy Kate's visit with Will and Caroline! A great day of sun, drinks, and dinner. We missed granddaddy and Dee but they were with us in spirit :). Thanks Bill for everything!

Girls Night at Painting Class!

The girls had a night out at painting class on Friday and we had a fabulous time! Keren, Amy, Christine, Leslie, Rebecca, and I all painted the 'FUNKY TREE' and they actually turned out OK! :) We enjoyed an evening of wine and appetizers and laughs. I can't wait to go back! The guys had their time at the baseball game - we all enjoyed our evenings!! Mitchell and I are so lucky to have such great friends! We are truly blessed! Oh and Mitchell was so sweet to want to hang my picture in our bedroom ... um, I don't think it's that good :).

A day at the lake with the Attaway Family!

We had a great day on the lake with the Attaway family! The twins were adorable as always! We enjoyed docking at the beach and we also found our new favorite cove! Sun, family, and great laughs. It was a good day! Now, we are trying to find Mitchell's cell phone! It's missing in action - kind of! :) Have a great week!

A birthday dinner at Josh and Lauren's!

Lauren and Josh made me an amazing birthday dinner! We had a yummy chicken breast wrapped in bacon and a delicious cake! Oreo, chocolate, and more chocolate. What more could you want!? We had a great time enjoying a relaxing evening with great friends!

A Fabulous Friday - Just Mitchell & I

Mitchell and I took Friday off to spend the day together! We toured the vet school at UGA, which was awesome for him to see with me. The reality of me going back to school really set in while I was there. We are looking forward to this new part of our life! Then, we went to the bookstore to get me a UGA t-shirt to make it official :). Afterwards, we headed to the lake for the afternoon. It was 92 degrees and sunny! A perfect day for us to enjoy cruising on the boat, floating on the raft, and to just enjoy summer! This time of year always goes by too fast. Have a great weekend!

Lake Lanier Trip on the Boat!

We had a great day on the Lake! I didn't hit anything this time - thank Goodness! We had some sun and clouds - Mitchell said it was a good mix. I'd preferably like it to be 100% sunshine :). The water was choppy! But, it was fun! I have a four day week this week because Mitchell and I are touring the vet school at UGA on Friday! I'm very excited. Have a great week and be safe! :)

My 29th Birthday Celebration

I have a wonderful husband! Mitchell through me a fabulous 29th Birthday Celebration! We had the family over for a great evening on Friday! Sharon and Bill, CJ and Savannah, Granddaddy and Dee, and The Attaway Family! Mitchell made his delicious pork tenderloin on the grill. Heather made me a wonderful birthday cake/dessert! It was great having everyone share in celebrating my special day. I'm lucky to have Mitchell's family near by! I miss mine A LOT! It's hard not being near my siblings on my birthday (Wednesday) - but I'll keep busy and not think about it :) Haha! But, I'll see them in less than a month! I'm very excited!!

The River Trip

Mitchell and I had a fabulous trip to Florida with his family! It was another annual trip to the river. We did a few river floats on the tubes, boat rides, laid out, and had incredible meals of course! Fondren and Melissa are some of the best chefs we know :). We had a great time getting to know Holly, David, and Andrew a little more! And, we definitely got to know Laura and Eddie, which we are fortunate for. The long Memorial Day Weekend went by too fast as always - we aren't quite ready to return to work tomorrow. But, we'll make it because it's only a 4 day week! Since I didn't take a single picture this weekend, I'll post some as soon as I get them from Heather! :) Have a great week!

Baby Emerson Arrived Tonight!

Kyle and Kandyce welcomed their first baby this evening! Little Emerson Blane Hardie was born after being a week overdue and Kandyce experiencing a full day of labor. He was 8lbs and 22 inches long! He's got dark hair! Very cute. I'll post pictures as soon as I get them!

A Fabulous Weekend!

Mitchell and I had a fabulous weekend! He did a guys night and I did a girl night on Friday with our fantastic friends. We officially bought our first boat! We are excited! It's named 'Fruity Pebble' because of it's many colors. It's a 17 Foot Carolina Skiff. It will serve as a great fishing boat for us and a great relaxation boat for just the two of us! We took it out Sunday and enjoyed a day of sun with Heather and Brandon and the twins and David and Holly and Andrew. And, I will admit that I had my first boat foul - I hit someone's trailor! YES - that's true. I only broke the trailer light and he was really nice about it. I guess I need driving lessons after all. :) Saturday, we had a great time at Ella and Addison's 4 year birthday party! We can't believe they are already 4 years old. Where do the years go? Heather and Brandon threw a fun party! So, now we are looking forward to heading to Florida for a few days and floating down the river. I can't wait!
